City law firm Nabarro announces the completion of a major stock transfer deal for the London Borough of Lambeth. The project involved the transfer of over 1,300 homes on the Robsart and Stockwell Park estates, to a community based registered social landlord, Community Trust Housing (CTH).
The Community Trust Housing project aims to deliver refurbishment and redevelopment works totaling in excess of £140 million, including the building of up to 320 homes for private sale. This project is similar to one also completed by Nabarro in July 2006, involving the transfer of over 1,400 homes to Clapham Park Homes from the London Borough of Lambeth.
Lead Partner on the project was Louis Robert of Prince Evans, who was sub-contracted to supervise the project. The Nabarro team included John-Paul Buck who was the lead associate on the negotiations for the deal, assisted by Natalia Sokolov. Trowers and Hamlins acted for Community Trust Housing and Addleshaws acted for the funders of the project.
John-Paul Buck, from Nabarro, comments: "It was very exciting for Nabarro to be involved in a project which will benefit so many people, and a pleasure to be a part of one similar to the project that was completed very successfully in 2006."
