Nabarro awarded place on L-Cat consultancy commercial panel

12 June 2007

Law firm Nabarro is celebrating being awarded a place on the full commercial panel of the Government’s new Catalist super panel, which replaces L-Cat.

This panel covers all the lots Nabarro submitted tenders for, which include IT and telecoms, property and estates, construction, employment and pensions, corporate and finance and IP.

Simon Johnston, Senior Partner at Nabarro, comments: "We are delighted to have achieved the success of being appointed for a range of services to the L-Cat Panel.  The firm has enjoyed over many decades a strong working relationship with the public sector including central government, local government, regional development agencies and other public bodies.  It is a key component of the firm's practice and we employ a number of dedicated specialists to support the services we provide to our public sector clients.  We look forward to working under the new arrangements with new clients to ensure that quality legal services and advice continue to be provided to the public sector."

The Legal Services Series of Framework Agreements (formerly L-Cat) were established in collaboration with the Treasury Solicitor's Department and the Department for Education and Skills to provide government organisations with a simplified means of procuring external legal services.

Firms were assessed on their ability to provide quality, value for money services. Nabarro is one of 32 law firms to have been awarded agreements across 7 categories of legal work.
